Kartheeka Gnanamrutham - (I) 2009

The Bhavan's Tirupati kendra organized "Kartheeka Gnanamrutham", a two day seris of discourses on spiritualism by 'Saraswathipruthrudu' Dr. Medasani Mohan for the fourth consecutive year on 30th and 31st October 2009 for the students of secondary school and the staff.

On the first day, Astavadani Dr. Medasani Mohan explained the significance of the programme.He also specified that the month kartheeka in Indian Almanc is to advocate spirutual knowledge. In his discourse, the speker highlighted all the positive qualities of human and explained why Sri Anjaneya was described as the first among the intellectual astutes in holy texts. He said that every student should acquire both physical and mental strength like Hanuman and should develop self confidence and concentration and work with dedication like Arjuna.

The discourse on the second day was on "Nachiketha from Katopanishad" one of the twelve famous Upanishads. He compared Hanuman Body to a Chariot and Mind to Character. Meditation is the key to bring to control the mind and the body. He also suggested that one should fallow 'Shreyo Margam'-(patience) to become highly knowledgeble, since knowledge is wealth. He adviced the students to study with concentration, will power and dedication like Nachiketha to achieve success and happiness which is the essence of Gnanamrutham.

Dr.Medasani Mohan was felicitated by Dr.N.Satyanarayana Raju, Hony.Director & Treasurer, Dr.P.Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary, Sri.J.V Durga Prasad, Associate Secretary, Dr.Vengamma, Sri.Srinivasan, Principal and others.

Kartheeka Gnanamrutham - (II) 2009

The Second session of 'Kartheeka Gnanamrutham' was organized on 9th November, 2009 for the students of classes VII,VIII and IX. Dr.Satyanarayana Raju, Hony.Director and Treasurer ,welcomed the guest Sri.R Kavitha Prasad,Dharma Prachara Parishad, Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams, Tirupati.

Sri.R.Kavitha prasad, clearly explained in his discourse about how human body is beautifully designed and planned as per the requirment of indivisual and stated that there is no variation in creation. However, the variation exists in the usage of intelligence which varies due to lack of concentration.Concentration can be developed by improving the listening skill. He stated that every individual has good memory and learning capacity. He suggested students to rise before sunrise to nuture their grasping and memory power because the age of from five years to fifteen years is the most receptive period. All the queries posed by the students were solved using simple concepts in lucid language.

The guest was felicitated by Sri.P.V.Krishna Reddy, Executive Vice-Chairman, Dr.N.Satyanarayana Raju, Hony.Director and Treasurer, Sri.N.K.Raja Rao.Students and staff too joined the felicitation.

Kartheeka Gnanamrutham - (III) 2009

The third session of "Kartheeka Gnanamrutham" was organized on 10 th November, 2009 for the students of classes VII, VIII and IX. Dr. Satyanarayana Raju, Hony.Director and Treasurer, welcomed the speaker of the day Sri.T.R.Ranga Rajan, Lecturer, Oriental College, Tirupati.

In his discourse, the speaker highlighted the qualities of a teacher and qualities to be inculcated among the stundents.All the stundents should have the zeal to attain their goals. He quoted versus from the Vedas and Upanishads and emphasized the same. He was feliciated by Dr.N.Satyanarayana Raju, Hony.Director and Treasurer. The staff and the students witnessed the felicitation.
